Stuart House is situated in the Southeast side of St Albans in Hertfordshire. The home is close to local amenities and public transport services and provides services for older adults needing support to remain independent whilst living in an environment that delivers high quality care on a 24 hour basis.
We work on the philosophy of enabling the residents in our care to live as full a life as possible, supporting them in their daily activities and identified long term plans. We subscribe to the tenet that all individuals whether elderly, or young, or physically or mentally disabled, should be given due respect to their individuality, and must be enabled to fully participate in decisions, which impact on their lives. The outcome being to support all the individuals in our care, in maintaining their entitlements as individuals in society.
All our staff support the residents in maintaining their chosen life style, ensuring that our care is delivered in such a way that the residents dignity remains intact.
All of our staff are equipped with the relevant skills, experience and knowledge and all services offered will take into account the individual’s emotional, religious, and cultural needs.
Our aim is to work in partnership with the residents, their relatives, and any other relevant agencies, to provide a support plan for each individual and for that individual to be enabled and supported to maintain and /or maximise their potential for further development.
